Fotoessa decided to include the internationally recognized Artistic Network for Performing Arts ‘Kinitiras’ in the last international Agora Erasmus + training (2019) in Athens, as it is an excellent case study on encouraging sustainability and growth of social and creative entrepreneurship during challenging sociopolitical times. Kinitiras connects professionals and amateurs, people from different racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, geographic, academic and professional backgrounds, through the performing arts, emphasizing diversity and inclusion. It also promotes research and intercultural collaborations through the establishment of Kinitiras Studio, socially responsible open art space (the first Residency Centre for performing arts in Greece), offers alternative approaches in education and lifelong learning through the performing arts, and participates in European programs and festivals in Greece and abroad. The artistic space visit and a dance workshop gave the Agora participants an invaluable insight into creative entrepreneurship and modern social reality.
