The House of Europe in Rhodes and Fotoessa PC, in collaboration with the Linguistics Laboratory of the Department of Primary Education at the University of the Aegean, under the auspices of the Greek Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation, and on the occasion of the Mediterranean Day, organized an event to present the tools and practices of Intercultural Education developed by the ALF Foundation to students and teachers of the three branches of the Faculty of Humanities of the University. The event held on November 29, 2023 at the University of the Aegean in Rhodes, was attended by: Alivizos Sofos Professor, Dean of the School of Humanities, Polykarpos Karamouzis Professor, President of the Department of Humanities, Vasileia Kourti Kazoulli Professor, Director of the Laboratory of Linguistics and Michael G. Kavouklis, President of the House of Europe in Rhodes.

The keynote speaker, Stefanos Vallianatos, PhD, Director of the International Relations Department of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture, co-Head of the Greek Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation and Executive of Fotoessa PC, presented the textbook for Intercultural Citizenship Education of ALF and guided the attendees to the relevant digital game application created by the Foundation. With remote intervention, Aspasia Protogerou – non-formal educator and Certified Intercultural Citizenship Education Trainer of the Anna Lindh Foundation, conducted an intercultural exercise with the attendees and shared know-how and experiences from intercultural workshops in Greece and abroad.
