Stefanos Vallianatos holds PhD from Lancaster University (UK) in the field of International Relations with specialization in the Middle East and the Eastern Mediterranean. He is Director of International Relations of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture and Coordinator of the Anna Lindh Foundation’s Greek Network. He taught Politics of the Middle East and the Balkans at the International Center for Greek and Mediterranean Studies (DIKEMES). He publishes, presents and regularly lectures on issues related to developments in the wider Middle East region, Greek foreign policy in the region, Civil Society and the social movements in the Mediterranean. He organized and carried out a series of relevant actions, including several related to intercultural dialogue in the Mediterranean.                                                                         

He is an authorized trainer for the Creative & Social Entrepreneurship Program (CSEP) of the In Place of War (IPOW) awarded organization of the University of Manchester.

John Sourelis holds an MBA Hons and an Advanced Certificate in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University, NH and a BSc in Marketing Management. He worked for years as Product Manager for Fidis Intl. and as Operations Manager for Inchcape Plc. He has also worked as an independent consultant in multinational and private companies and has extensive knowledge of the peculiarities of the Greek market. He is a certified alternative therapist and has established the “Holistic Fertility” ® method, an innovative, non-drug-using method of treating infertility. John Sourelis is a member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR) UK.

Dimitrios Triantafyllou is Director of the Center for International and European Studies (CIES) of the Kadir Has University in Istanbul where he teaches International Relations. He holds BA in Political Sciences and History from the University of California, Berkeley and MA and PhD in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University. His experience as a director, researcher and professor in various organizations and universities includes the International Center for Black Sea Studies, the University of the Aegean, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece, the Greek Observatory of the European Institute at LSE, the European Union Institute for Studies and the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP). He is a deputy editor of the Southeast European and Black Sea Studies (SSCI indexed), member of the Greek-Turkish Forum, member of the Governing Board of the Institute of European Studies at MGIMO University, Moscow. He participates in the work of the Black Sea Commission, and he is also a member of the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation, International Institute for Peace, Vienna and the Corporate Social Responsibility Association of Turkey.

Aspasia Protogerou holds a MA in Science of Education from the University of Strasburg (USHS) and a BA from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, School of Philosophy, Department of French Language and Literature. She has completed a post-graduate course in Cultural Empowerment and Counseling. She is one of the first active members of Hellenic Association of Educators for Environmental Education and she has participated in relative Greek and international programs and exchanges. She has being working for years as a creative copywriter and communication consultant in advertising and public relations agencies. She is an awarded children’s book author (from the International Board on Books for Young People and the Greek Women’s Literary Team). She is a certified Trainer of trainers (ToT) in Social and Creative Entrepreneurship from the University of Manchester UK, a certified Trainer of trainers (ToT) in Intercultural Citizenship Education from the Anna Lindh Foundation and a certified “Story Circles” Trainer in Intercultural Competencies for Youth in the Euro-Mediterranean Region from Unesco. She is, also, a certified EFT-Tapping Practitioner.

Nanda Gadhur – Demiris is a research associate of the School of Sociology, Politics and International Studies at Bristol University, where she also received her PhD. Her doctoral dissertation explored the ways in which the tactic of non-use of violence against the Palestinian resistance against Israeli occupation became a reality, and according to what rules they made it. She works as an Assistant Coordinator of the Anna Lindh Foundation’s Greek National Network and as a researcher at the Jadaliyya online magazine. She is a member of the editorial board of the Daily Acts of Resistance and Subversion linked to Jadaliyya.

Aspasia Kakari is a journalist and a certified professor of journalism with extensive experience working in non-profit organizations, project management and campaigning to raise awareness on various issues. She has 12 years of experience in managing European and state-funded programs. She is an expert in identifying funding opportunities, finding appropriate circumstances and opportunities, developing proposals for funding, designing projects, coordinating international collaborative projects and awareness-raising projects, with a special focus on refugees, human rights, Children’s rights and the active participation of citizens.

Roula Mourmouri holds MA in European Integration from the University of Essex and MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science in European Studies. She works as a researcher at the Institute for Lifelong Learning Studies (IMEDE). She has worked as a Project Coordinator at the Jean Monnet European Center of Excellence of the University of Athens, as well as a member of the London School of Economics Research Finding Committee.
