Fotoessa participated in the inspiring presentation of Yannis Makridakis from Chios, a prolific writer, authentic ecologist, experienced activist and active citizen, in the crowded hall of the Cultural Association of Fokaea Politeia, in Palaia Fokea, in the Municipality of Saronikos, 2 March 2026. Yannis Makridakis conveyed valuable experiences, knowledge and inspiration regarding the vital relationship between man and the natural environment and the efforts to raise awareness and mobilize citizens for its protection. Fotoessa was represented by John Sourelis (co-founder and Project Manager) and Aspasia Protogerou (Head of Educational Programs and Intercultural Educator). We are grateful for this inspiring presentation that substantially enriched the European Erasmus KA2 Program “Guardians of the Coasts”, which is conducted by Fotoessa and the Portuguese NGO Aequalitas.
