On the 4th of November 2023, Fotoessa’s co-founder, Yiannis (John) Sourelis, and Intercultural trainer, Aspasia Protogerou, participated in a four-hour online session organized by the Gender Alliance and specifically, from George Nikolaidis, Adult Educator and Coordinator of the organization Gender Alliance and Andriana Nikoloulia,  Psychologist – MSc Social Psychology – Gender Alliance. The training session is part of mutual learning activities aiming to explore, record and publish best practices regarding the avoidance of gender stereotypes and to give positive alternative narratives about gender to people working with young people, as well as to public dialogue venues, media and advertising.

The action is included in the project “A New Gender Era” carried out by the Hellenic League for Human Rights (HLHR) and the Gender Alliance, with the support of the European Union, from February 2023 until January 2024, with the ultimate goal of actively contributing to the elimination of gender stereotypes and discrimination, so as to prevent gender-based violence and toxic behaviors, while taking steps forward towards a European Union of gender equality.
